Description : Five Southeast Asian Tualang Trees

Giant Tualang A: Giant Tualang A is somewhat smaller than the original Tualang in the rainforest tree pack, with nice orange and yellow flowers round the base.

Giant Tualang Bee: Giant Tualang Bee has huge honeycombs and buzzing bees all around it. In many parts of Southeast Asia, people climb these trees to harvest the honey.

Giant Tualang C: Giant Tualang C is truly giant. It scales over 40 metres (130 feet), but that's small compared to the largest Tualang ever found which was a massive 87 metres (285 feet) tall.

Giant Tualang D: Giant Tualang D is also a giant scaling over 40 metres tall (130 feet), small compared to the tallest tree in the world, which is a sequoia or coast redwood, measuring at 115.55 metres (379.1 feet), discovered in Redwood National Park during Summer 2006 by Chris Atkins and Michael Taylor.

Gibbon Giant Tualang: Gibbon Giant Tualang is the best animated object I've made, and consists of a female and male yellow-cheeked crested gibbon, scientific name Nomascus gabriellae, found only in southern Laos, southern Vietnam and eastern Cambodia. Their population is unknown but they are considered vulnerable due to deforestation. The female is pale gold coloured with a black crest, and the male is black with yellow cheeks. They are moving by brachiation, the classic method of locomotion of gibbons, swinging from branch to branch with their long but immensely strong arms. Like other gibbons, their hands are permanently curved to help them hold on tight - maybe you can see why!
