Title: Guide For Getting Screenshot Of dlupdate Folder
Post by: fern on June 24, 2008, 01:12:47 AM
Sometimes in order to get to the bottom of a problem you may be asked for a screenshot of your dlupdate.
This is also a good way to show a list of the files you might have in a specific zoo. This was written with Windows XP in mind.     -     fern

Many thanks to PartyWolf for sending this to me

Mac Guide For Getting Screenshot Of dlupdate Folder by PartyWolf

Step One: Go to the dlupdate folder.

Step 2: Press Command (on some Macs it has a picture of an apple), Shift, and 4 together. You should see a camera (on some there's a bunch of numbers)

Step 3: Drag the mouse as if you were highlighting your dlupdate folder. You should hear a 'Click!' and maybe even a flash.

Step 4: On your desktop, you should see a picture of what you just took. It's name should be Picture 1

Step 5: To change it to a .jpg file, click on the picture once (or highlight it) then press Return/Enter and you'll be able to rename it. Name it whatever you what to name it, and then add .jpg to the end of it. The computer will ask you if you want to change the extension file from .png to .jpg. Say yes.
